Enough is enough...

I haven't any pretty pictures to post tonight.

No pretty words either.

Hardly any words at all really.
What devastation SE Qld has seen.
I just read now of a family who lost their four year old in the floods today and my heart breaks for them.  I am so so sorry.  Their grief, I can't even begin to imagine.

And to Mother Nature or the gods or whoever it is who has some control over the weather, enough is enough.  Please.  No more.  There has been enough heatbreak, enough despair, enough loss.
It's enough.

My thoughts to everyone in SE Qld, especially in Toowoomba and surrounds, Ipswich and Brisbane.

Stay safe, keep your families safe.
Nothing is more precious.

Thinking of all our neighbours up North. Horrifying to watch. So sorry for the loss of lives.

My heart goes out to everyone affected by the floods. I can not even begin to imagine how these people feel. Reading your post about the four year old caused a lump in my throat... truly the worst thing imaginable for any parent. My prayers are with them.

It is ironic that the sun is shining this morning in Brisbane. It is just surreal down here. We have removed most of the items from the Garden Centre which is set to go under this afternoon. My thoughts like yours, are with everyone in the flood zone. Stay strong all, we will get through this...hey we are QUEENSLANDERS !!! cheers Katherine

It is unimaginable loss and heartbreak. I am hugging my girls a little tighter today. I do hope the worst is over now. Hugs to you in Qld. Emma.
